Hearty Home

They always say that the kitchen is the heart of any home and because of this, I always feel that kitchens should be as practical as they are visual treat.¬†We’re in the process of collating ideas for the kitchen in our new home and I want something that is light and airy, whilst also being the perfect combination of style and substance.

Here are a few images that have been inspiring me for ideas for our new kitchen…

Circular Encasing

I adore this area of Lela Rose’s multi-functional home. The sixteen meter high ceilings definitely allows for the gallery-esque space to be airy and 1960’s Pierre Paulin circular sectional encasing the pillar is simply stunning!

SWOON.

Home/Office

This Danish home offers the two-for-one space – the top floor is an office and the round floor is a living space. Perfect.

I love how light and airy the space is, and the minimal railing on the top floor mezzanine allows the two spaces to be viewed as one.

What do you think? Would you like to live in this space?
