Structure

Over the festive period, I spent a lot of time browsing around in books, magazines and online at imagery and articles. With that, I thoughts I would kick off my first January post with a few images that influenced me. All of the images are different and they don’t all tie together but they all have attention to detail in common – the craftsmanship that has gone into creating every item is stunning.

Happy Monday to you all!

Muted

The thing that attracted to me to these two images is the intricate detailing that they hold. The use of the muted tones in both ¬†allow the beauty to shine through. I’m mesmerised by the craftsmanship that has applied to create such visually stunning pieces.

SWOON.

Up Close

I always find that when you take time out to inspect something close up, that even the most everyday of items can hold inspiration. This week I have found myself studying images that I have found and paying attention to not what is just at the forefront of the images, but the detailing surrounding it….

Happy Friday!

Mapped Out

A few months ago, I collated this post which expressed my love for maps. I came across this striking image on Pinterest and had to share it with you.

Maybe it’s the buttoned settee that is sat pretty in front of the intricately detailed map, or the blue cushion and flooring which picks out the greys and blues in the map…who knows, but i do know that I love it!
