It has always been a concern for many that if you welcome a dark shade paint into your home then you fear making the room look smaller, and perhaps the wall to ceiling colour could be oppressive. However, these three interiors prove this to not be the case. Each room is bought alive with colour, textures and prints and the block colour is broken up by the art on the walls and the eclectic furniture that each room holds.

Weathered
As soon as the sun shines, whatever the temperature, I have a desire to instantly be outside. As the nights have become lighter and the days of sunshine are becoming a reality I have been gathering inspiration for my garden seating area. I want the space to be relaxing, comfortable and to also merge into its alfresco surroundings…

Not only is this Italian chateau from the 17th-century, it’s beauty and interiors are as enrapturing as its history.
Each room is decorated with a combination of French and Italian antiques to create a grand, yet welcoming atmosphere. Through every doorway appears to be visual treasures, stunning upholstery and ornate details.

With the heatwave that we are currently experiencing, I have been feeling all things summery and love the idea of making small changes to my home by adding bright bedding and fresh flowers! It’s an inexpensive way of adding a touch of summer, whilst making a welcoming impact.

I thought I would expand on today’s usual ‘Friday Four’ of inspiration to show you a few beautiful images that I have found. I love the feminine feel of them all, with their vintage touches of fabrics, details and colourings. I absolutely adore the Parisian restaurant window with it’s gilt gold typography and the view of its stunning wooden bannister! LOVE.

A world without stationary isn’t even worth thinking about! I could spend days creating beautifully wrapped gifts and card making. I take pleasure from giving presents that are adorned with ribbon, lace and other luxurious textures and my mind is constantly thinking of new ways to ‘out do’ my previous efforts!
I thought that I would put together a few inspirational images to give you all on how you can wrap up your lovely gifts for friends and family. There is also plenty more where these images came from on my Pinterest page, too!
Happy creating!
