Here at Hana & George, we have been finding beautiful images off Pinterest recently that are too lovely not to share! As many of you will know, I gain a lot of inspiration during my online searches and love to discover new blogs and to catch up with what other people are doing.
I love the tones of these cherry red images. Whether I am wearing red lipstick or adding an injection of crimson beauty to my interior, I love the impact that a hint of red gives.
I am head over heals in love with the Singer machine which has been given a face lift in red, as this is the same machine that I use regularly in the workshop. The gently hum that it creates as it stitches is pure heaven…
A few months ago, I created this post on how to create your own candles using vintage cup and saucers to give them a new lease of life. I am totally in love with the idea of also making my own candles using glass jelly moulds and including two wicks to make more of an impact. What this space as I rummage through vintage markets and charity shops to find the moulded beauties!
If you’re looking to make little updates for your home, then flea markets and charity shops are the perfect place to find inspiration and to pick up one-off items to add a unique touch. Beautiful cut-glass vases and trinket holders can be found for little money but can make a real impact on your coffee table or side board…
The sun is finally shining in all its magnificent glory and nothing is more inspiring, in my opinion! I love to leave the window open and allow the wind to enter my home, bringing with it the scent from the florals in my window boxes…SWOON.
Happy Friday to you all and I hope you have a lovely, sunny weekend planned!
As soon as I saw this I had to share it with you all! I love the quirky touch to the pile by the random burst of colour painted onto the side of the wood. Not only is it fun, but it also makes an everyday view (if you’re lucky to have an open fire, that is!) into a stunning focal point for a home.
I adore the idea of hanging your favourite clothing off luxury silk hangers in your home. Not only is it an ever changing form of art, but it’s also a way of showcasing your beautiful garments that are often too splendid to be hid away in your wardrobe! Mix lovely fabrics and prints against plain walls or showcase your favourite shoes on a shelf…the possibilities are endless!
The weather outside may not be cheerful, but these rooms certainly are! The pop of pastel colours add a point of interest in the rooms, while continuing to maintain the relaxing atmospheres. There is nothing nicer than to be welcomed into a room with fresh flowers and foliage.
