I have recently become attracted towards all things purple, adorned in this romantic hue. Whether it’s incorporated in your home or your wardrobe, it is the perfect colour to cheer up your day and to add a pop of colour.
I recently planted my window boxes for the arrival of summer (…even though it’s yet to arrive!) and I chose ivory pansies with a purple centre, blasting through the centre. Yum.
I love the luxurious use of purples in this collection of images. The use of velvet on the vibrant bedspread and the iconically shaped chairs graced with the bright colour are perfection. Even though purple is thought to be quite a bold colour, I love the relaxing feel that the colour offers to all three rooms.
I can’t resist a room that offers the ‘wow factor’ from the moment that you enter the room, and this collection of images definitely caught my eye! I think Christmas is the ideal opportunity to inject your personality and to add decoration that makes the month of December not just memorable, but special.
Whether you fire a touch of neon into your festive celebration with neon wrapped candles or adorn your tree with baubles of shocking hues, here is a little inspiration to get you in the colourful mood…
The different shades of purple are magical. The darker aubergine-like hues are warming and comforting while the lighter violet tints of purple are uplifting and always remind me of a summers day. Purple hues are seen daily in fashion and interiors and is the perfect shade for adding a pop of colour, as seen here.
Today I thought I’d create a purple feast for the eyes…
