Outdoor Love

When we moved to our new home, I was fortunate enough to be able to have my own little studio/workshop in the garden and, with the arrival of Spring, it is a really inspiring place to be. On a day like today I open the double doors and have all the windows open, so I am pretty much working outside. It’s heaven!

Here are a few outdoor lovelies which I have been collating on my Pinterest page. Maybe I should plan an extension on the H&G HQ?

{Sorry for the blogging absence – I have been unwell for the last few weeks so have been taking some time out!}

Happy Space

I believe that you should make the area in which you work exciting, as well as functional…after all you spend the majority of your time within your working environment and I love to work surrounded by inspirations and loveliness.

With this in mind (and the move to my new workspace happening this weekend *happy dance*), I thought I would put a few images that I have gained inspiration from for my new space…

Sewing Haven

This beautiful shed is the handy work of Artemis Russell of Rust and the super cool Junkaholique. She’s created the perfect sewing haven in her garden by sprucing up your average 4×6 shed and adding her own touch. I am completely inspired by this item and am already plotting plans to create my own shed once we have moved!

Crafty

When you spend long hours at work, it’s important that you’re happy within the space you work in. The space has to be comfortable and somewhere that you can happily dwindle away the hours and this craft room is a haven in my eyes!┬áIt’s busting with trinkets and treasures and everywhere you look offers a source of inspiration, through a variation of colours, textures and visual delights.

What do you think? How do you make your workspace your own?

Work It

With the amount of time that we spend at work I always think that it’s important for general wellbeing that you enjoy your job and all the aspects of it…this included where you work from. Whether it be a studio, a desk or a workshop I think it’s a must to be surrounded by your favourite things and to be comfortable in your surroundings.

I’ve put together a little office inspiration to kick off the working week with and would love to know how you personalise your work spaces!
