Selby’d

Welcome to the eclectic Manhattan home of writer & interior designer Rita Konig.

I have always been a huge fan of ‘The Selby’, and his ability to capture people relaxed in their own environments and this is no different. I love how chaotic and fun it is, the mixture of old and new sitting harmoniously amongst colour and texture.

LOVE.

Ma Maison

Could you be anymore enviable of Helena Christensen? She’s beautiful and talented. Well, she’s also got a stunning home to top it all off.

The Danish beauty surrounds herself with antique and vintage finds she picks up on her travels, all displayed ever so chicly in her brick New York home. The decor is inviting and intriguing and I feel comforted by the casual and relaxed environment that she has created. The Selby described Helena’s home as ‘perfectly executed Victorian-Americana’.

LOVE.

Design Splendor

While scrolling through one of my favourite websites, The Selby, I stumbled across this photographic journey through the home of London based interior designer, Abigail Ahern. She’s got a dramatic style, eccentric yet light hearted. The rooms are adorned by dark colours and bought to life with vibrant textures and quirky artefacts. The expressive feel throughout each space allows for comfort and warmth to be gained just by studying the images!

“The best interiors are those that don’t take themselves too seriously” – Abigail Ahern
