Deck the Halls

When glass is made into festive decorations and candle holders and the light reflects off its surface, the shades created are magical. I love to decorate my tree and mantlepiece with glass items as they have a beautiful way of looking different at different times of the day and, above all, they tend to be adaptable each year when colour schemes change.

Happy Friday!

Forward

In a few weeks time the clocks go forward and summer will have officially arrived. I love to celebrate this time of year by overloading my home & workspace with floral delights. There is nothing nice than being welcomed into a room by the bloom of a hydrangea or the floral scent of a hyacinth.

Here are two beautiful images to give you a little inspiration, I love the idea of using the tea leaves tin as a vase….

Wow Factor

I can’t resist a room that offers the ‘wow factor’ from the moment that you enter the room, and this collection of images definitely caught my eye! I think Christmas is the ideal opportunity to inject your personality and to add decoration that makes the month of December not just memorable, but special.

Whether you fire a touch of neon into your festive celebration with neon wrapped candles or adorn your tree with baubles of shocking hues, here is a little inspiration to get you in the colourful mood…

It’s Happening

I know, it’s perhaps a little too early but let’s not fight it any longer…it’s time for a little Christmas inspiration!

If you’re looking for a lovely way of decorating your side table or just filling a vase with something visually beautiful, then look no further than this! You can collect the branches on a weekend walk and then decorate the branches with stunning glass baubles.

I must admit, I love the pastel colour scheme. Yum.

Palm Green

I always seem to be attracted to the colour green. It’s uplifting and fresh and, let’s be honest, there’s not a lot to not like about it! Green is symbolic to hope and growth because of it ties with nature, and I always think that green is easy to incorporate in to interiors and outfits as it’s matches well with other hues.

I was recently looking at wallpaper samples for the flat (I’ll conclude my findings in another post!) and came across so many beautiful designs that focused on nature. It got me researching into how a lot of stunning wallpaper and fabric patterns are also present in fashion at the moment…
