Attic Love

This stunning attic room conversion is the creation of Janae Hardy of her blog The Itsy Bitsy House. The stark white walls and floor are bought alive by the stream of natural light through the end window and the neutralness is off set by her lovely, bright collection of furniture, treasures and trinkets. Shimmer

…Whether it’s the sun reflecting off the aluminium shell of an airstream, or the way that the light picks up the tones of the  rhinestones embedded within a necklace, I find that different textures can be ‘shown off’ in different ways, at different times off the day.

Swan Lake

You’ll either love this bed or hate it, but for me it is utterly stunning! The way that the bed is centre within the room and ‘sat’ within calm hues and on a blue rug instantly reminds me of a swan drifting down a lake shimmering in the summer sun…

If you love art, architecture and beauty, this book on the homes of Parisian Ambassadors is for you. The book is written by Alain Stella and the stunning photography is the work of Francis Hammond.

Such homes are normally kept behind doors, only for a select few to view, but this book has opened the doors and allows all to see the extraordinary homes within.
