With autumn definitely arriving with a ‘thud’ I have begun to plan for the winter hibernation! I love to make my bed even more inviting at this time of year and love to team plain, cotton bedlinen with patterned and textured bedspreads, throws and cushions. I have put a little inspiration together to share with you all on how I’ll be dressing my boudoir for the chill…
I think I could have happily spend many a lazy Sunday morning in this luscious bedroom! I love the white walls and it’s stark contrast to the vibrant bedspread and patterned cushions, and the gilt touches introduced to the boudoir from the full length mirror and minimal frames upon the back wall.

I adore the eclectic variety of colours and textures in this space. The sofa with its welcoming mountain of cushions with their clashing prints, and the colourful and calming painting in the background encased in its gold gilt frame…

I have recently been drawn to a mixture of smooth and woollen-like textures in houndstooth. There is something so classical about the print and looks fabulous whether it’s styled traditionally or mixed and matched with an array of other interesting colours and textures.
I love the clean lines of the bespoke tailoring again the tartan and stripe combination within the suit and the black and white of the houndstooth is perfection.

The last few days have definitely got colder which has started getting me ready for the winter hibernation period! I love to curl up on the armchair with a luxurious throws or snuggle in bed surrounded by a wall of cushions. Cushions, throws and other soft furnishings are also a brilliant way of updating a room by injecting new colours or textures.
