I love loft apartments, they always feel secure and comforting with their low proportions.
I was immediately attracted to this lofted beauty of a home as the house looks so inviting but has managed to be light and airy, a description which can not be associated with all. The light floods in through the large windows and the white gallery-esque walls show the colours and textures on display perfectly.

My inspiration from this week has come from the beauty that is the checked fabric. Whether cotton, linen or wool, I adore the impact that it makes. Whether it is a simple check or more of a plaid, our interiors and wardrobes should be graced with this lined loveliness.

Lighting is an inexpensive way of bringing your room to life. I love the dull glow of a table lamp or a large drummed pendent light controlled by a dimmer switch. I am a huge fan of a lovely lampshade and they can be as simple or outrageous as you desire! I have always been interested in taking a course on how to do it so that I could adorn my home with vintage florals and textured beauties…

I love mixing textures and patterns in rooms and a rug is the perfect way of doing so. Whether you like traditional or contemporary styles, a rug can add interest and lead the eye into the room. Rugs were always something that passed me by previously when decorating a room, but I am now on the hunt for the perfect vibrant beauty for my home. I completely love the blues and oranges in the second image…
I have recently been drawn to a mixture of smooth and woollen-like textures in houndstooth. There is something so classical about the print and looks fabulous whether it’s styled traditionally or mixed and matched with an array of other interesting colours and textures.
I love the clean lines of the bespoke tailoring again the tartan and stripe combination within the suit and the black and white of the houndstooth is perfection.

Welcome to the beautiful home of Naomi Stein.
Naomi would describe her aesthetic as ‘modern bohemian glamour’ and she is attracted to all thing unique and loves to mix patterns, textures and eras in her home. When it comes to her interior style, the only person she needs to please is herself and her pug, Bailey, so Naomi pushes the boundaries to create her stunning interior.
I personally love the combination of feminine colours within the textures and patterns she has used, which contrasts the tasteful choice of furniture and vintage finds.
