As well as being considered to be a romantic shade, I also find dusky pink to be a calming hue. In every magazine I peek into, pastel shades seem to spring up and I have also collated a Pinterest page for all the inspiring images I find.

In our garden, we had the lovely surprise of finding out that the bottom of our path is home to stained pink roses at this time of year! Lovely British summer time goodness.

Sweetest Pea

My love for a Sweet Pea blooming vase knows no bounds. I have always bought sweet peas from florists and markets in the past due to the lack of outside space, but this year I plan on growing them myself. The seeds have been planted and they have began to germinate…

Visual Delights

I seem to have been drawn to pink inspirations of late and how, when the colour is mixed with subtler hues the colour jumps out at you.

Our house renovations are in full swing at the moment so I am on a constant quest for beautiful imagery to give me ideas and  have been filling up the Hana & George Pinterest page with visual delights!

Happy Monday and I wish you all a lovely week!

Hot Hue

….A hot pink wool coat adorned with a gold embellished button and Nina Campbell’s ‘Swan Lake’ wallpaper offset with a vibrant pink shower curtain. Yum.

Pink is featuring heavily this season, with a fabulous variety of rose hued coats adorning hangers why not introduce the vibrant shade into other areas of your home?

Pastel Pink

As we are now approaching spring, and as I write this post the sun is shining, I thought it would be the perfect time for me to share a few pastel images that I have been storing up as seasonal inspiration.

I love the feminine hues is the images below, the textured fabrics and array of materials is simply stunning!

Wow Factor

I can’t resist a room that offers the ‘wow factor’ from the moment that you enter the room, and this collection of images definitely caught my eye! I think Christmas is the ideal opportunity to inject your personality and to add decoration that makes the month of December not just memorable, but special.

Whether you fire a touch of neon into your festive celebration with neon wrapped candles or adorn your tree with baubles of shocking hues, here is a little inspiration to get you in the colourful mood…

Come In

I’ve always been amazed by creativity injected into buildings and I love nothing more than to be enticed into a building by it’s exterior. When I meet a beautiful kept building out and about, I am always intrigued by what the inside must look like.

What do you think hides behind these beauties?

Pink Shade

The best way to describe my relationship with this lamp shade? Love at first sight.

Maybe it’s the explosion of colour against the grey wall, or the orange squiggly cord…whatever it is, I think it’s the perfect combination of quirky and fun.

What do you think?

Pink Infusion

Why not add a constant hint of summer to your home with an infusion of colour? It can be any colour that you choose and the hint can be as small or as large as you so choose… (I personally LOVE the pink painted doors!)

Happy Tuesday!
